ASHLAND, MA — The MetroWest Design Center welcomes homeowners, designers, builders, and manufacturers to kick-off Boston Design Week on April 4th from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at 60 Pleasant Street in Ashland, MA! Explore our offices, showrooms, and workshops ranging from architecture and construction firms to manufacturers and installers of cabinets, countertops, flooring, roofing, windows, and more.
Throughout the evening, we’ll have demonstrations on new materials and innovative technology, as well as seminars on our design and recycling programs that are integral to our industry.

The MetroWest Design Center is a one-stop shop for all things home remodeling. Located at 60 Pleasant Street in Ashland, the MWDC strives to make it convenient for professionals and homeowners to do their cabinets, countertops, flooring, windows, doors, roofing, backsplashes— anything you need done to your home— all in one place.
The center unites two buildings filled with design companies such as Divine Stoneworks, GMT Home Designs, JD Millworks & Cabinetry, Kaswell Flooring Systems, Marra Flooring & Design, Mass Home Services, Men in Kilts, Tricia Kendall Architecture + Design, and United Home Experts.
Boston Design Week is an official week running from April 4th to April 11th recognized by the Mayor of Boston to increase public awareness and appreciation on all aspects of design, foster recognition of the vital role design plays in our lives, and bring new audiences to a wide array of design industries and organizations. Their vision is to encourage the public to explore all aspects of design through their 12-Day Citywide Design Festival.
The week has more than 70 engaging and informative events from non-profit partners, product designers, technology designers, architects, design showrooms, family programs, urban planners, interior designers, the City of Boston, and others!
Explore our indoor fabrication facility and learn how our environmentally-conscious design encourages water and stone recycling. Plus, watch our NASA-grade robot, Harris, in action and enjoy a drink in our showroom!
Take a guided tour of our industrial and renovated office and warehouse. Paying homage to Massachusetts’ rich history and innovation, we have remodeled the space with a mix of reclaimed and modern materials. On the tour, check out and demo premium products, including Marvin windows, Everlast composite siding and ProVia doors. Then see how exterior remodeling gets done at our tiny house where you can ask your most pressing questions.
Men In Kilts will be talking about some of the newest technology in the window cleaning industry. We will dispel the myths of cleaning windows with paper towels and windex or the old wives tale of crumpled up newspaper. Join us for a fun and interactive 15 minute demonstration on proper window cleaning techniques and maybe get to try out our equipment. Kilt is not required for entry.
Come see the benefits of designing your project in 3D and experiencing it in virtual reality using our powerful design software, Chief Architect. You can design between any view for seamless and simultaneous editing between 2D and 3D. Join us for some savory snacks and drinks as we take a tour through one of our home design projects and try on our virtual reality glasses for an interactive experience.
